April is Financial Literacy Awareness Month. Throughout the month will be featuring financial news and events at cashmaine.org and financial tips on Facebook and Twitter. Be sure to “like” us so that you will receive these helpful and fun tips!

New Ventures Maine, one of CA$H’s many community partners, provides statewide tuition free classes statewide in money management, career planning, and starting a business.  During this month consider signing up for My Money Works to build your financial literacy.  This class can help you gain the skills and confidence you need to stretch your money, pay your bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, plan for retirement, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class you will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability.
