Maine relief checks of $850 will be mailed out to most Maine residents starting in June.
To be eligible, you must be a full-time resident and file a 2021 Maine income tax return by October 31, 2022.
If you do not typically file a tax return, you will have to file to receive a payment.
To receive help with filing a 2021 Maine tax return to receive your inflation relief check,
please contact us at 207-778-5048 or [email protected]
Take a picture of your tax documents (or scan them) and securely send them to our tax preparers online through GetYourRefund.
A volunteer will contact you to get the process started and then one of our trained, IRS-certified volunteers will prepare and double-check your tax return to make sure it is correct before filing.
