Maine on Top of Children’s Savings Acounts

Maine was the first state in the nation to launch a statewide universal CSA program in 2008. The state is credited with one of the most generous programs available, which includes a $500 grant for newborns through the Harold Alfond College Challenge and additional matching options if they open a NextGen College Investing Plan.
